Joshua Berman, also known as “Josué,” is a freelance writer and trip leader who has spent much of the last 10 years living, working, and traveling throughout Nicaragua and other parts of Central America. He has lived in La Trinidad (Estelí), San Ramón (Matagalpa), Pio XII (Masatepe), and Managua. Joshua's personal site is joshuaberman.net, or find him on his blog, "The Tranquilo Traveler."
Randall and Joshua first joined forces in 1998 as editors of Peace Corps Nicaragua's quarterly publication, ¡Va Pué!, which they helped transform from a 17-page administrative newsletter into a 70-page volunteer magazine. After completing their Peace Corps tour in 2000, they wrote Moon Handbooks Nicaragua, the guidebook they wish they'd had when they first landed in the country. A few years later, they wrote Moon Living Abroad In Nicaragua, drawing from their frontline experience and a vast network of amigos and colleagues throughout Nicaragua.
